I have just 2 questions that google could not answer me so well.
I'd like my finished films on DV tape "copy" also with the head drum of the camcorder, the cut video archive.
So now my CanonXLs it cost to have lots of wood, and there are already camcorder on ebay are around 50 euros. Turning now to capture it using a cheap camcorder, while it lacks s.Qualität?
Sure is a non-HD camcorder HD DV tapes, but when read this makes a different? I'd like to save my Koptrommel ...
Ne other question, how long does a head drum in good conditions, for example, tapes (, 100, 1000). And what does it cost to maintenance, support for Canon?
Still, the last question, which codec will render the files in "DV quality" .. eg the algorithm Losless?
Many greetings and a great weekend!

Have the camera must have an unlocked DV - In. This is for simple devices are often not the case, for licensing reasons. When you reinstall your capture bitch makes no difference when playing off probably not synonymous.

Canopus DV, MainConcept DV .... Not synonymous to the MS-DV1. But then it is not HD, but PAL!
As a setter has proved really only the GV-D900. In a pinch synonymous goes TRV7 and TRV9. For DV - In unlockable.

Probably by mistake in your sentence is missing only the "no", but a non-HD camcorder, of course, can not play with HD footage recorded tapes: These have to be a HDV device manufactures. But if you rotate the avatar with a XL1s, but HD is not an issue anyway?

In principle a good idea, but how many hours per day do you intend to, once again off to tape? The normal admission charge holding a drive far more than the dubbing on the calculator or back to tape, so you may need because you do not make big ideas. A list of eligible camcorder you can find the way to http://www.dv-in.de, considered within the category of already activated s.Werk is far from complete. Theoretically, you could even take an HDV camcorder, since each of them can record both at the same DV as synonymous has a DV input.
... DV - In ... is on simple devices are often not the case, due to licensing issues ...
Licensing grounds are / were a no, but its tariff classification as a recorder, when the camera has a DV - In. Then the tariff rate is ten percent higher, significantly more expensive that the device for consumers. To produce the Manufacturer for the EU market, often without a specific version of DV - In order to make it more attractive to the purchase price.
