Good day,
I had a problem since. Did my computer with my television connected, and only get black / white Ressonanz so good at German, I only have a black / white picture. Eh now all fall on me here some infos: ...
... I use a "Atix800" (latest drivers installed including Catalyst 6.12), furthermore, I s.dieser "Ati" an S-video output. About this called S-video out I go into my TV via Composite (via a SCART adapter), pure. And since I only get black / white.
In the Control Center at Ati I geguckt, the format is PAL.
Do you have an idea what it could?

If your graphics card from an S-video signal and Your Television believes that it is a composite signal, then the picture s / w.
GBT There are some sources of error:
The scart adapter configuration is not full, ie you go with S-video in, but on the other there was no S-video out.
or
You must notify your TV, that since s.der Scart socket S-video signal arrives.
or
Your TV has no S-video input

Thank you first for your quick reply. I think the problem lies in my Television no S-video, but only composite. But that is why I have a cable which is of S-video (graphics cards output) goes to composite (Television Input)

Because of the image of Conrad, I am still not sure whether the thing from an S-video signal to a composite signal, synonymous wen on one Page A Hosiden connector and on the other a RCA Male.
Even the description of Conrad, I'm on the Picture rausgesucht, is for me (this may s.mir are) not clear.
Since I am at the moment - because everything else seems right - nothing else can imagine, my tip is still there even with an express as S-Video to composite adapter to try.

I have the adapter and the s-video cable ..... before everything went where I have a cable-times of a friend had borrowed everything ... wonderful color .... dan, I have bought and selfhood wums everything in black & white .... only thought is s.kabel and gave it to my friend to try out .... it was ..... hm what is this for me .... 've done everything g-pal, pal-b, etc.

So if the cable of your friend s.Deinem PC and your cable s.seinem, then just replace the cable.
Sometimes it is because of dimensional tolerances in the plugs and jacks to loose contacts. Another Male-/Buchsen-Kombination can eliminate the problem.
