True :-)

Fun aside: If you have the 16:9 aspect ratio like, when you have a square pixel aspect ratio select, approximately 480 x 272 or 320 x 180th Alternative: You stutzt the left and right Page of your videos until it corresponds to 4:3.

I thought so. So I thank my "settings composition" a "square pixels" and 720 x what?

The format is 720 x 576 with AR 1.42 - but I need 720 x? with AR 1.0

Hello,

I would make it synonymous with VirtualDub to make! And so:

Your computer has a Resolutionvon 720x576 pixels. Times I go now assume that it is progressive images, or do you see in VirtualDub any horizontal "stripes"?
The 720x576 pixels would be displayed on a monitor with square pixels, so at 1024x576 pixels 16:9 to equalize. Then überlegs you how big the image height to be when you compare the 1024 pixel width is proportional to the Height to 320 pixels verkleinerst: 1024/320 = 3.2 ie by a factor of 3.2 smaller. Are you doing the same for the Height of 576 pixels: 576 / 3.2 = 180

Your target resolution is 320x180 So just (!) Pixel! The need now to 320x240 for 4:3 "letterboxed" are. So the top and bottom 30 pixels "bar" (240-180 = 60 & 60 / 2 = 30).

Practice:
- Open your video in VirtualDub
- Go to filter and select "Resize"
- Here, you will have just calculated 320x180 pixels and ask to "precise bicubic" or "Laczos3"
=> The result would be a 16:9 - Video with square pixels, but still without black bars.
- Now enable "Expand frame and letterbox image" and wear down 320x240 pixels
- Done! Download and s.damit in Youtube!

I hope I have helped you!

Greeting
Alex
