Infoseite // pixel errors in folders?

Frage von irisan:

as usual, I've discovered an error grad who does not should be solved fairly quickly and be at the last minute ;-)

and although I have a dvd with DVD Studio Pro burn the video from Final Cut Pro with compressor compresses, and now I check the dvd and at many defective pixels are blinded to sehn.

I've now tried a testclip with the highest quality to export, looks better, the blocks of pixels but they are easily visible.
(do not know how the effect is called, if it blocks of pixels form)
what can I do? Exporting is not better, right?
but it can only be due, right?

ask for a tip, since it must give something!

With an aperture changes the entire image content. Is the data too small to change the error-free play, then block the formation of artifacts ( "pixels").

Could it be due? A bad compressor? A too-long video? Too low a data rate?

thanks for the quick response!

hm .. The error occurs on synonymous, if I only a 3 second sequence will output.
the settings in the compressor, 2-pass, optimal vbr, bitrate avg. 7.7, maximum 9, movement assessment: High.

later, I can not adjust that, I think.

or is the program is not ok? but until now I found the compressor is not bad ...

Where are the pixels for error and how do they look? 9 MBit / s (plus audio data) are many DVD players too much and it comes to playback errors.

Antwort von irisan:

well, yes, I originally had 6.4 mbit set, now with 9 ichs've tried and since sahs better, but still visible (ok, only slightly, but I'm a perfectionist).

I habs s.mac viewed directly, ie the folder videot pulled into the player. And someone hats synonymous tested on a DVD player, the problem was not just the DVD player to play-sehn but is generally already on the dvd material.

So is such a high bitrate synonymous again not good if I want it on a normal dvd player can easily anschaun?

As a principle, are computer monitors (no preference whether tube, LCD or whatever synonymous always) not responsible for the assessment of a video image (see synonymous video recordings s.Computermonitor not look good).

For the appearance of this artifact is the compression, but in fact secondary. It is only (!) Codec is a weakness, often in similar colors and flat screen content can occur. Since I still would not worry if the image content (change) must be so special.

That's right. Especially since you are good encoders even between 7 and 8 Mbit / s no significant difference can recognize.

many thanks for the info!

the error can be seen not only on the monitor, but synonymous with beamer and projection s.fernseher.

what a decoder would be a good? yes maybe my program is not good enough? thought, compressor wär ok ...

Deleted. It is a Mac and not a Win PC. In MPEG-2 encoders for the Mac, I have not much idea.

I had a similar problem just synonymous with a nearly two hour film, I wrote in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 created, exported as AVI, Adobe Encore CS3 and then imported as a DVD was issued: The gerauscht have crossfades and pixelated.

I then, in Premiere, the final global output track a filter "Broadcast Colors" activity, which is the signal strength on TV screens has allowed limit values. Then there's that which perfectly!

I still have to add that the noisy / verpixelten crossfades on the PC monitor was not visible. Perhaps it is thus not exactly the same effect as with irisan, but yes it can still be trying times.
