disable this behavior can be quite as far as I do not know. But if we remove a selected clip on the timeline is not easy with the delete key right but with the right mouse button clicks, you have to delete the choice between 'close and delete' and incomplete '. -> The former leaves a gap on the timeline.
Trimming is necessary to press the Ctrl-key during which then moves the clip not.
