hi, ask in advance to check for visibility, I'm an absolute beginner!
have different clips with Movie Maker 2 and processed without any conversions o.äh. in "my videos" saved.
which are now as mpg files there. can not with movie maker, even with Picasa, VCL-player or media player to play.
media player comes with info window: file corrupted or codec is not supported; in VCL player Picasa and nothing happens, and in movie maker
runs while playing the bar, but neither visual nor ton.
Please help soon, there should be a surprise wedding video to be s.samstag.

The Movie Maker saves itself (just like any other video editing program) are not the videos themselves, but only references to the location of the files.
Removing location (eg an external hard drive or a USB stick), then use WMM synonymous references nothing more.
