Kaufberatung: Camcorder DVD ./. HDD

purchase advice: DVD camcorder. /. HDD

Frage von silviag3226:
April 2007

Hello,

I plan to purchase a camcorder in standard resolution. I'd like to max. EUR 800 - 900 to spend. I currently Schwanke between the choice of recording media with direct access, so a DVD or HDD.

Not that I would disturb DVD principle, but the sampling in the media market, I find that this simply somehow worse in the hand (maybe my hands are just too small synonymous :-))

I have due to various tests and articles here in the forum actually 2 Favorites:

DVD: SONY DCR DVD-506E
HDD: SONY DCR SR290E

As far as I can judge, both technically approximately equivalent, the SR 290E but ergonomically much better in the hand.

Would that even the right choice, or is there in this price region are other great devices (like other synonymous Manufacturer) you should look at? Speaks something totally against my favorites?

I thank you already for your answers.

Many greetings
Silvia

The biggest question mark in your choice is the recording format. Use the search times, there are a number of discussions on the disadvantages of DVD / hard disks, camcorders, or the advantages of mini-DV.

The first thing you should be clear whether it really and definitely NOT a mini-DV will be, because DVD and HDD are due to the MPEG2 recording a number of drawbacks in common.

73 Mark has already mentioned, the post-editing of Mpeg2 has its pitfalls, comparable with conventional DVD recorders.
If you have something you can practice times in advance
Good shots there vernutlich only in HQ mode, a DVD would be around 30 minutes, with hard drive possibly 8Stunden.
Whether any of Sony software then grow as your demands?
Mini-DV content has the advantage that the media are relatively cheap and Firewire of all PCs and programs is supported.
One of the Sony's, Dolby 5.1-that is natürlichein old hat, because you can not edit the.
Last but not least, the CAMs are not exactly cheap.
It must be such a purchase at least 3x as superior.

... Thank you for the first time responses.

After I did the editing so little clue!
From your perspective, but I make no mistakes so if I "miniDV" attack.

Certainly very silly question: How do I get the material on the calculator?

Which miniDV camcorder are recommended (max EUR 800-900).
The camcorder should be relatively parallel synonymous make good digital photos.

Antwort von Udo Schröer:

All DV cameras have a Firewire output, you can here the 1:1 video to play on the PC, if your cam synonymous over a Firewire input, you can have after editing the video to play back again synonymous. Your quality will remain as long as you get everything in DV editing mode.

With MiniDV are you doing in my opinion for the next 5 years no errors then you should still have fun s.der joy will now have shown that really something new / better there.

It is interesting in the DV Cams - in, so if necessary the movie from the PC back into the camera brings, that would be in your price range there.

Panasonic is often recommended, but others sell synonymous.

To edit s.PC you need a good editing program and one for DVD authoring (or wagon)
At best one where you do not update daily, or the calculator zumüllt.
Because you should really read through the forum.

Ansonstn Everything looks quite complicated but it is ultimately quite simple, provided one is not previously of the most contradictory thoughts astray.
