Infoseite // quality is as if in normal dv is rotated?

Frage von pat:

Hi!
I had as yet no chance to test it myself, but I am curious how the quality is, if man is not in hd but rotates with the option "normal dv" revolves. then a variety of non-hd-cameras noticeable? Then, the quality of the HDR-HC1 (because only one chip) worse than, for example that of the Sony VX2100 with 3ccd? theoretically that would indeed be so ..... if there any other fundamental unterschiedede between the "non-high def mode" of a digital camera and normal dv cameras, there would also be very interested in me ...
gruss
pat

ps this is meant seriously (because of compatibility issues), please no recommendations yet, I should just turn in hd too.

Hi Pat, Your question is not very easy to use.
I have long been filmed with the VX 2000 and now use the FX-1.

I find the picture of the FX-1 filmed in DV slightly worse than in the VX-2000, especially in lowlight area, but that's nothing new.
If you want to shoot in DV, HDV Camera will not buy, then a VX2000/2100 buy that are quite cheap to get.

If you want to buy it necessarily an HDV camera, then - synonymous if you want to not hear the movies in HDV. If you want to 16:9, then take the conversion mode of a digital camera (FX-1 and HC-1), if you need 4:3, then the Z-1 would come into question, because here you can synonymous in the camera from HDV 4:3 to 16:9 DV.

You can capture as synonymous with Canopus Edius 3.5 of HDV in real time and then cut a corresponding 4:3 DV-Picture.

In Rudy's newspaper had an article on the HC-1. Here is written that a capture of the analog outputs of HDV to DV allegedly would give a space of about 4/2/2, in Comparison to the 4/2/0 of DV. Under what conditions is not exactly here, perhaps that can write anything about this one time.

Hi Pat,
synonymous with the FX1 you can shoot in HDV and DV capture in (through the built-in i-convert), is actually better than directly in DV. The Lowlightverhalten may be worse than the VX2100, but now concerns really extreme situations such as the basement with oil lamp, which wanted to make any reasonable person. In a nightclub, it provides good results. Want to really just DV, then take yet the VX, alein because of the money savings.

Many thanks for the reply .... very revealing.
The tenor is thus incorporated in a better hdv record and capture the first to walk directly into a dv.
A small dig deeper still: What is it with the smaller hdr-hc1 from? bought at the big losses after the convertierung in normal dv.
I know the whole fragestellung gehts so a bit of a s.sinn hdv camera over, but it's just all an investment question. I am in the moment yet in a few projects that were started in dv, am then inclined to switch to hdv .... is probably not the best timing to purchase in this transitional phase, a new camera, but unfortunately one can not always raussuchen so as much as you like .....

Hi,
the problem with the hc1 is unfortunately that they can not spend sd at 4:3.
that is, you have the picture in 16:9 format.
This can only benefit the better version, the a1

is just like me. 'm still synonymous s.abwägen whether it makes sense for me now to hdv switch, or if I'm still awaiting my cup to pour a tee and how the whole hype hdv-developed.

herunterrechnet is for me, because I will be filming in a long time pal and with the premiere hc1 material more than just fantastic.
one must always bear in mind that one has to downkonverting color at 4:2:2.
Only one can exploit all the advantages of hc1 only if s.pc runterrechnet.
So if you want to film in 4:3, you already need the a1.

Yes, if you want to film in 4:3, but what normal should the filmmakers still want to go? The 4:3 television equipment from die. Just do anything else with screens has and how it looks later on, when is reproduced 4:3 to 16:9. In any case, not as good as when one has directly 16:9 filmed. I film only in 16:9!

In my custom and acquaintances, most television still in 4:3 format. Which of course I deliver from 4:3-movies, otherwise they could not even see a part of the picture.
