Hi,
I have recordings made with 50 fps. The videos are played very choppy. Is there a way in Final Cut Pro to change the videos so that they are running playable?

A little more info would have been important. Because if I throw my 50p material in a 50p timeline, nothing jerky and everything runs as desired and expected.
What good is a preset for you? With what has been rotated? Meckert Final Cut Pro may reinwerfen when the source material in the timeline, the sequence settings need to be adjusted? Where is the connection between "slow motion" and 50p?
