Seeking a camcorder in the price and size region as the JVC Everio GZ-HD6. We have here in the company already has the Panasonic SD 707, but the problem is that these AVCHD cams produce. Mts files that Quicktime can play well not so simple.
Since many people with the cameras work in conjunction with MacBooks, I will find a camcorder, so does not AVCHD, but generated as a known format that can be played eg with Quicktime without having to convert it or have any plugins needed.
Should be as a 3-chip, so now I'm on the HD6 come. Eig all the other so have a CMOS ...
They also have an audio shoe in and have a photo.
Then I have another question: Normally, yes, a clip is generated when you press on and stop recording. This means that the clips are separated auto of the camera. Is there a possibility that synonymous if I have multiple times in a row receiving only a clip is created?

Since Sanyo yes now part of Panasonic, is on the well-known companies only Samsung remained the "pure" make MPEG 4 H.264.
Meanwhile, all high definition models of Canon, JVC, Panasonic AVCHD and Sonydie lap recording at least when shooting HD. Panasonic still has the Apple joyful 540, 25 P IFrame format, but this has hardly anything to do with HD.

The HD 6 has been able to her 3 chips and a good processing anything really good, the sharpness was weak just like your low-light performance. Also SonyandCanonkönnen with 1 chip technology will generate considerable images.
Photo a shoe can be found in quite a few models in the 707 class, synonymous beiCanonoder Sony. BeiCanonzb the HFM 41, at Panasonic even in the 99th SD A microphone input has been synonymous many cameras again, such as the two former.
If you insist on 3 chips, it means more money to spend, or go back to Panasonic ......

The question came from but it was only recently, or am I mistaken?
In the camera can only join, depending on model & retail company of films. Otherwise there is nothing, at least not directly into the camera.
