The part is on the firewire port with the camcorder connected and then worked at Canon as s.jedem other camcorder with firewire input, it stores the incoming data on compact flash cards.

Did synonymous as an alternative to me that the cache function will always have the first 14 seconds before pressing the button Reckord land on the map. The 14 seconds are fixed, you can not make a different time.

I've nachgeschaut in the manual and there is only one card slot. See Page 6 of 31
