I have a PAL version sony trv-80 European. Now I make holidays in the usa and if I'm not sure because my camcorder can easily recharge. this is a problem with the different voltages in abroad? or it goes when I use a different plug for the European charger use?

Schau doch mal on the back of the power supply (or battery charger). If there 110 - 240 volts (possibly synonymous 110 - 230 volts daraufsteht), then you only need a small adapter plug, which you s.Flughafen or get in many hotels.
If there but not 110 - 230 volts, but "only" 230 V draufsteht, then you need another power supply. The Americans have 110 volts.

times have checked on the power supply:
AC IN 100-240V 50/60Hz 23W
DC OUT 8.4V 1.5A
should therefore not pose problem to operate the power supply with 110V.
