Thank you for your reply! I have the video now as mpeg with mp2 mpeg streamclip with the converted when I use the clip in Final Cut Pro import needs for 1:30 min, but about half an hour to render. there is perhaps a quicker way? I do it anyway on youtube high ...

Convert to the format, which has your timeline.
If you are in Final Cut Pro with DV work, convert the file to DV in MPEG Streamclip.
