how can I get the original of each clip to delete or make inaudible. Not all the original away, but really just individual parts.
Would somehow be trouble!

Hello Sigrid,
You can in the timeline mode right outside the video-block lane.
It is therefore now possible to edit the underlying audio track freely, move or delete them.
But you can simply synonymous to the volume-processing curve and prefer to go up or down = high, low or off.

Even more convenient is with the mixer, change to reach about Toolbox | volume.
When playing the project / clips so you can runterziehen in "real time" or raise the volume, just as you like.
It then creates a Lautstärlkelinie that can be changed as described above, synonymous in the timeline ...
