hallo, first of all thank s.alle, which is always the trouble, here to help, now my problem.
have a dvd, which runs perfectly for me (pc, mac and bose dvd player), some customers send me back but, as no sound, the check on my device, all in order, the check on a dvd player FUNAI ( kollege) actually no ton. the hammer is, however, the title music is everywhere, but the konferenzton is gone, although a file, or super soft and distorted. working with Edius 5, camera FX1, 16 bit, 48khz, copy-tower "burnbox 11fach".
would like an explanation, I solve the problem by setting new, but I just want to understand.

Generally you should go with AC3 s.sichersten.
You, however, WAVE uses, then you should see the total bitrate of the film observed. The may even burned DVDs at maximum 8000kbit / s, are better 7500, then you have some air.
The total bit rate consists of the video track and all tracks and possibly the sub-titles. So if you are WAVE uses 48khz and 16 bit stereo, you have exactly 1536 kbit / s, the sound needed. Your video should be in this case a maximum of 6000 kbit / s have.
Now it may of course be that some of the total bitrate s.der swallow. Normally jerky playback, but who knows, maybe the Funai disable the audio track? Hm ..
I am leaving now for some time with AC3 and yet never had problems.

Well, actually I always do the same, had about 200 products in the program, I create the movie with Edius, the use of Canopus procoder express, since years with the same setting, reaching a maximum lead times the bitrate, depending on the film, and then create with encore dvd 1.5.
