Hello,
'm new here and have the following problem,
I was with my analog hauppauge pci tv card included a documented, the file is 4gb big and in this case in the 352x576 resolution.
I need only one part of the file, I wanted to cut and save the recording as a compressed avi. so far so good. Now to my problem,
in any video editing program in which I upload the file, the picture is distorted, that is ready to be concentrated in the building by more than half. However, I play the file with vcl s.ist the image as normal, so do not distorted and the resolution of 768x576 ...
why it is that I can edit the file not normal or stretch the bearebitungsprogramme vcl not like the file, but the picture is always distorted and how can I avoid this?

... and in this case in the 352x576 resolution. The PC works with square pixels and a frame size of 352 × 576 is clearly a portrait. The VLC player plays the video with the correct aspect ratio, therefore, again, because he performs a pixel aspect ratio correction.
