unfinalized DVD on laptop / was of course not / DVD now empty

Hello, Last week I looked at the Handycam (DCR-DVD200E) Sonyof my friend lent to the school to film a performance. The recording is synonymous went super well, I've twice synonymous verify whether synonymous I record (on camera the recording is played). At home, I wanted the recording to me now and then put the DVD in my laptop. That was of course not. (Wusste at this time does not mean that I must first finalize) My friend then said, I would have to finalize the DVD only. Said than done. After finalizing the display of your camcorder "Disc Error". The second DVD, I then precaution is not finalized, but the comic is when I use the DVD Handycam to the play wants to show they are not recording, the disc shows as empty.
What is wrong here now?
Can my DVD player the unfinalized DVDs have destroyed?
And if so, can it with a repair program to restore?
I have already worked through the archives, but no similar problem can find. I was now synonymous not sure what my problem Threat I should, I think a camera fault but it is not rather, more of a handling error of me ;-( or broken DVDs?
Would be nice if someone could help me. I am grateful in any case, sometimes in advance.

Try the Isobuster. The CDs can be broken and sometimes even read DVDs. MFG Peter

Can you perhaps tell me, what now for the destruction of the DVD was responsible?

That could have been anything. An interim playback attempt is seen as the cause, however, very unlikely. Otherwise, yes all the videographers had this problem, their first DVDs have not finalized ...

Will the DVD's now probably in the garbage dump ....

So, my laptop recognizes them.
Isobuster says not formatted DVD and Rep. starts the process does not. CD Roller says after infinitely long time (10 min), the repair program drüberlief: DVD blank.

Yet not all hope is buried. Try it on another drive or DVD burner. Maybe a different firmware disk considered problematic and can do more than the previously used drive.

BadCopy Pro Programs and the SD card can be synonymous Repairing a possibility. Other question: If you look on the DVD about what - whether because what was written?

Has the DVD in the DVD camcorder as a DVD-VR, or written as "normal" video DVD (with Video_TS folder)?

@ Markus I will try. Must just find someone suitable .... .... @ Eve yes, you can see on both DVDs, they are described. An almost full (about 25 minutes), the other about 10 minutes. ... ... @ Hollgo So I think rather the latter, but I am not sure because I use the default settings my friend had used. but I will ask again.
