Infoseite // unintended effect of jitter on DVD

Frage von Sylvia 777:

Hello!
I have the following problem:
when creating a movie with a lot of movement and dance "distort" / Jitter images if you watch via DVD s.Television. On PC / Mäc happens not because the film looks onaus.
Starting material is mini-DV as DV-Pal recorded
Film editing software: Final Cut Express 2
Calculator: Mac G4
We have in the program options
s.with 1st Field b) with 2.Halbbild c) without fields and d) Common tested.
No settings brought the jitter to disappear.
Who can help? Many thanks in advance and best greetings
Sylvia

DV is always the bottom / second / half straight.
In any case, the description indicates a Halbbildfehler. That would have made do not actually occur only if it is not somewhere intentionally did what vermurkst. Because the default DV PAL enough, and the export setting "Current Settings" to change this synonymous nothing.
What is the workflow, "Save the best quality from FCE to iDVD?

hi axel, source material is fine and the import and export, I have the dv-pal-codec used. motion blur is disabled in the settings, everything on the second field in the export and render the highest quality is elected! to burn the QuickTime movie and the quicktime conversion (I have tried both) I use Toast Titanium 6, because my internal burner, the iDVD accepts defective. Therefore, I use an external burner and toast, so far has worked!? I can the problem of jitter does not locate next and wonder if it would encode iDVD better? would you have a quicktime conversion or recommend a QuickTime movie at rausrechnen? those are my two options, since I do not have compressor! (Fce 2) many thanks for the effort in advance, gruß christian

Quicktime ?????

Non-Standard - Video-DVD with the VIDEO_TS folder and some xxx.IFO, xxx.VOB and xxx.BUP files?

That seems to be no video DVD with standards to be more of a Quicktime file that has a DVD player to be played. This may still have some errors ...

hello andy, yes, unfortunately, only quicktime as far as I can see! Final Cut Express 2 of 2004 gives me only 2 options of exporting: Render as "independent film" in quicktime, or render as "quicktime conversion", where I use the codec dv pal "and may be determined by the ton! in toast can I burn a dvd, about 1.5 hours which is converted, so far I thought that this would be ok! final cut studio with all SCHNICK-Schnack would have been nice, but me is too expensive, and previously worked as synonymous! So, unfortunately, everything is unclear! Many thanks for further help, gruß christian
