I had been a pinnacle dv moviebox with a FireWire output. unfortunately it is now broken and I had me a pinnacle 700 usb purchased. but this has only a USB output and it will not premiere of recognized.
therefore I need a video capture program with which I am Of the 700 usb avi capture and this can create what I can capture in premiere. I voted with the 700 usb studio yet, but I want to familiarize themselves not in studio. We also have premiere of two licenses.
which (preferably freeware) would you recommend, there are apparently many offers.

Hello,
I would solve problem s.der place where it occurs: When A / D converter. Serious devices give DV data via firewire, not "something about USB.
Then klappts not only with Premiere, but synonymous with any other video editing programs. ;-)

.. Have not a clue what it will be there, but it is important not synonymous, because the capture as avi unkompremiert can (almost) any capture / editing software ...
By the way, my suggestion would be the thing and immediately changed to a device seems to me Firewire, USB is nothing for video ...

DV-AVI (data such as a DV camcorder) is not uncompressed, but in the ratio 5:1 JPEG data similarly reduced. Uncompressed AVIs most PCs can not play properly because the data rate is too high.
