hello ... I have a problem ... I have a slightly outdated version of powerpoint and come really good so clear. but what does not have to play the videos with the digicam I've filmed. the sound is heard but it is always there: Video not available. Decompressor was not found. I've already tried everything. normally allows the video to play in all programs. does not copy, paste and does not object on - media clip gehts not synonymous. who can help ?????

Most works of just 1 x. Did the problem under XP and Win2k.
You show the PPT then on another calculator, gehts not guaranteed.
I'm curious to see whether it is so synonymous others.

Whether or ppt, pps, Power Point always remembers the path to the file. Well, almost always, because, as rightly noted, what's on the PC at home runs, runs after the transport of the two files and wmv ppt / pps on another PC no longer, even if the same drive letter available.

Belongings on the stick then the viewer is always synonymous for emergencies in, is quickly installed.

I will thus assume that both the calculator on which the presentation is created, as synonymous to the target computer Power Point installed.
Now, on the one Calculator (for example, in the office / home) and the presentation is created is stored somewhere. The car is done with the file extension *. ppt
Your file is now simply change the extension *. pps
The resulting *. pps, but the *. ppt synonymous, is utterly no preference, you can then go on CD, USB stick, send them via mail or what ever synonymous.
On the target machine is running then double-click on the *. pps auto-screen presentation, double click on the *. ppt opens as home to Power Point and you can edit the presentation.
So when a video in the presentation should be included, the procedure is as follows:
The office will be the presentation prepared and together with the video as a *. ppt in a directory of choice saved.
This directory with the two files, we now via CD or USB stick with the journey.
On the target computer, these two files now turn to a directory of your choice copied.
You open the *. ppt, removed the video link, set it again with the new directory name, saves the *. ppt again, change the file extension *. pps then, and now they can file as a shortcut on the desktop and set of then the slide by double click.
Et voila.
Three times done, the s.Zielrechner usually 1-2 minutes.
Possible risk:
