The optimal combination would be: Firewire> D / A converter (camcorder)> Video Monitor. They s.wenigsten any drivers to use what influence the video image.
Or your video card has analog video outputs? Then you could picture the impression yes compare times. The best should be identical. And finally check the synonymous s.der Matroxkarte.
The result I would be interested synonymous times.

oh yes, it has ... on a conventional TV set tv to get on the camcorder easily zb (SCART connection available)
the new (old) sony triniton has no SCART, but a series of other connections - my problem: I have no cable media market place, which I somehow with my cam and the moni can connect, let alone with the pinnacle box (s-vhs and composite)
is the BNC connector s.monitor randomly? I might need an adapter of s-vhs to BNC?
my goodness, my technique works on understanding the highest levels ...

Composite, any television or video monitor to understand. If not via Scart, then RCA (yellow RCA connector) or BNC. The latter is just the kind of connection, but says nothing about the signal.
On my video monitor (a JVC) is not even composite CVBS or s.den the video inputs on it, but just "Video". But that is all the same.

Scart is professional video monitors that can not be found. My monitor has BNC connections.
How BNC Male couplings look and shows you the Google Image Search. Gib einfach mal "BNC" one.
BNC to RCA is there 1xBNC-on-Y / C is not. It would be a cable of 2xBNC-on-Y / C.

hab jetzt mal ne ask quite different on the same subject:
if you s.jvc with bnc preceding what has actually your cam? or otherwise: can we ever "lossless" in a preview monitor, if the cam has no bnc?
I have now a cinch to bnc adapter fetched and am convinced it will work, but what do if it looks good and still only a provisional, because loss of adapters?

It does not matter because I can not s.Videomonitor depends on the camera, but the DV editing PC. ;-)

Well, the question could be a trigger philosophical debate about what "lossless" means when the recording of a DV camcorder via composite transfers.
