What actually fulfill purpose, such as video editing matrox or canopus?
when I was in my premiere hdv material (I cut it at least try), jerky, the preview is not cut and incredibly practical, as premiere takes 1 minute to calculate the new preview image, if I point to another in the timeline going.
accelerates a videoschnitt map the calculation of the preview?

With regard to HDV (and synonymous HDTV, the small but subtle difference) was my DUAL CORE X2 4200 with 2GB RAM synonymous not just fast. Especially if you have two lanes in HDV wirds nasty slow.
Have to say that I deserve the matter, however, synonymous with my money, and a pure software solution is not viable in the sense of loss of time.
In Munich, I've looked at a dealer, the Canopus Edius NX with HD option.
For a hardware capture card relieves the system fundamentally. (relieved, not replace, a quick calculator, still needed).
A hardware support is especially for HDV (or synonymous "real" HD) is needed, especially if you still have various effects uses, and it was only a reflection of the clip or transition filters.
Canopus (or other synonymous NLE editing cards) that is usually already take time as the default Dissolve effect, etc. In addition you can get often synonymous in a different format and run the same timeline - the translation into the target format (PAL or HD) is done by the card in real time.
My system z.Bsp. different resolutions in different formats for direct capture and can mix (MPEG, HDV, PAL, NTSC, HDTV (1920x1080 and SR = synonymous special formats), and even Quicktime is directly possible.
To that extent a sectional map represents a significant time savings, especially with HDV (HDTV) and when several tracks are working with.
And also, and this is actually the best thing you've s.TV direct preview option, and not s.klein PC monitor.
Some cards also offer preview option in real time on compositing software like After Effects and Combustion (may not need, just mentioned).
The price, however, lies with the Canopus at about 1300th - EUR (with HD-function) and all popular HDV camcorder can be connected directly (own firewire input, no compatibility issues with other OHCI Firewire cards).
However, each card is still a powerful hardware prerequisite. Because many effects are indeed real, and hell, you can use many tracks simultaneously, but has the more power your system, the more opportunities are available in real time.
My system approximately 8 packs HDV tracks simultaneously (if needed mans), but it is synonymous not a problem, a color correction, the picture shift, brightness correction to 2 full HD tracks (1920x1080) native (!) To synonymous with each other and the blind to, and in real time - Express RAID (assuming normal SATA-II) plates.
