who has experience with the canon xh-s.zusammen with premiere 2.0?
partout not we succeed in the HDV signal to capture. premiere says a "running record", but it is not a building made s.ende and I have a 1KB big. mpg file on the disk.
is s.premiere or s.der xh-a1?

In my contribution, Page ad below, I described exactly what settings I chose. Scene detection works at the moment unfortunately not. This would require one additional tools.

3. Camera switch (VCR / PLAY)
4. In the SIGNAL SETUP menu -> PLAYBACK STD to "HDV" is
5. In the SIGNAL SETUP menu -> HD DOWN-CONV to "OFF" will
6. Off Camera
3. Firewire plug
4. Camera back to VCR / PLAY represent
5. Editing program start
It is probably a kind of bug, or say "Unausgreiftes Handling". The Canon Customer Support recommends using the Firewire cable, only in the off state or finish!

Prima! With these settings it works for me now synonymous.
But why must APP now recording everything after the rendering
without cutting or Effects. Also back again in the Camera

Premiere 2 renders not :-) This is called indexing, if the sometimes synonymous similar can be long.
The reason is the HDV and MPEG codec used with long picture groups. In order for the average frame-accurate show, you must first premiere since probably a "glance" give.

Synonymous now I have a Canon XH-A1 and the osEinstellungen made to an HDV - video via FireWire to the PC in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 to play.
The camera control succeeds, but then I see (in selected settings in APP for HDV) is not a preview image when recording. That is to get over because I am in the video cam display can be seen.

You should be with an HDV camcorder ever filmed in HDV - and if necessary, either to the output from the camcorder to SD down conversion, or hold until after the cut in HDV.
Power is not that you take just the advantage because of this has Kamares.
HDVSplit works only if the output from the HDV camera than done.

I almost thought of me, and I would always prefer that than HDV material available for processing to have to edit it. But when needed it so I can again in another format from tape out.
