I use a Helmcam with one SonyDSP (Digital Signal Processing). This goes into the analog input of my SonyDCR HC42E.
If only I with my 42er HOST, everything works fine.
Even with the Helmcam there is no problem except for this detail:
Directly connected s.TV is all normal. But as soon as I recorded with my digicam s.den PC dubbing is left in the video to see a yellow bar to about 7mm broad at 1024x768.
Can we leave it?

With analog camcorders disturbances in the border area are normal. Usually it is a green or black and white stripes on the right page. ;-)
