Wow, another year has flown by. And what a year it was! There was so much happening in the world of cameras—too much to list here in two sentences. Instead, we&ve decided to put together a little retrospective on 2025; it will be out in a few days, stay tuned.
Speaking of retrospectives, something else entirely comes to mind. We recently celebrated a round anniversary rather quietly, because in December 2000, slashCam launched here with news and information about digital cameras, video editing, and everything that goes with it. Theoretically, there&s a lot to say about that too—but practically, we much prefer to look ahead.
If we&re bringing it up now, it&s for only one reason: to say thank you. Because ultimately, all of this only makes sense because you are here—our readers. Quite a few of you have actually been with us from the very beginning, which we find absolutely sensational. We are just as happy, of course, to constantly be newly discovered by people interested in cameras and filmmaking.
So, thank you again for all your support, curiosity, enthusiasm, and not least, your high expectations of us. We are already excited to see what there will be to read here next year. But first:
