For a few days now, "The Batman" has been in theaters, the latest film version of the Bruce Wayne saga, this time from director Matt Reeves. The camera was directed by Greig Fraser, who captured very special images, as he did with Dune (2021). At
Variety you can find a nice interview with him about the shooting, which really makes you want to see the film.
The film stars Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, and the Batmobile plays a prominent role as always, though not with quite as much screentime this time. Insider has taken a look back at particularly spectacular car chase scenes from the Batman film series in honor of the Batmobile, starting with Batman Begins (2005).

How these Batmobile stunts were executed, how much effort went into the contruction of often multiple vehicles, and how much of the action was actually shot on-set and in-camera is pretty impressive to see. Even if, of course, some of the work had to be done with miniatures - even a Batmobile can't jump onto rooftops - and the CGI team had a hand in everything.
