AJA introduced several firmware and software updates at NAB 2022, in addition to its new AJA Dual-Channel OG-FiDO-2T-12G and Single-Channel OG-FiDO-T-12G-STAJA has added (expanded) two new OG-FiDO 12G transmitters to its line of openGear-compatible 12G SDI-to-fiber conversion solutions www.aja.com/family/opengear. The OG-FiDO-2T-12G dual-channel transmitter and OG-FiDO-T-12G-ST single-channel transmitter support HDR video, are compatible with all certified openGear products, and support Ross DashBoard software for remote control and monitoring.
;) AJA Dual-Channel OG-FiDO-2T-12G and Single-Channel OG-FiDO-T-12G-ST OG-FiDO-2T-12G is a dual-channel 12G-SDI to fiber transmitter that supports conversion of two independent channels from 12G-SDI baseband to LC fiber for easy transport of signals up to 10 km. OG-FiDO-T-12G-ST supports conversion of a single 12G-SDI channel to fiber and enables transmission of a single 12G-SDI baseband signal over ST fiber for remote or distant workflows. OG-FiDO-2T-12G and OG-FiDO-T-12G-ST are available now through AJA&s worldwide dealer network, priced at 1,509 and 1,029, respectively. AJA BRIDGE NDI 3G v1.5 Brings NDI 5 SupportThe free  Update v1.5 for BRIDGE NDI 3G brings new NDI 5 support and a number of performance enhancements to AJA&s high-performance gateway device for converting to/from SDI and NewTek&s high-density NDI video-over-IP protocol. Feature enhancements include discovery server compatibility, new low latency settings for time-critical workflows, timecode support, advanced system timing options, and dynamic link bandwidth detection for remote management. ;) AJA BRIDGE NDI 3G AJA FS4 Firmware v3.0The free firmware v3.0 for the FS4 Frame 4K/UltraHD and multichannel HD synchronizer and up/down/cross converter provides production professionals with support for advanced HDR workflows, increased frame buffer depth from 6 to 20 frames, improved ancillary data management, and enhanced overall usability. The FS4 v3.0 update includes the same enhancements as AJA FS-HDR and increases the device&s frame buffer depth to support configurable delays of up to 20 frames. This free update is available to all FS4 users and does not require a hardware change. ;) AJA FS4 In FS4 v3.0, the ability to pass or translate ancillary data for a wide range of formats and conversions has also been enhanced. For transmission applications that require the use of SCTE-104 markers for ad insertion, FS4 now automatically passes SCTE-104 packets. FS4&s new Timecode Xlator transmits or converts supplemental timecode (LTC, VITC1, or VITC2). The update also expands the number of conversions that support pass-through of closed captioning. In addition, Enhanced Single Channel Mode (ESC) provides simultaneous 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD outputs, with separate downconversion for the 2K/HD output. In this mode, a true 4K or UltraHD signal can be processed, and a downconverter for HD or SD requirements is available via the SDI monitor output. AJA Diskover Media Edition v2.0 with New Telestream Plug-InsAJA has debuted new version of its Diskover Media Edition (2.0), its data management software that allows users to search, find and analyze media content and associated metadata from local, remote and cloud storage, aggregating the associated metadata into a unified global index. Designed to help production, post-production and VFX facilities with remote workflows, the update includes security enhancements as well as plug-ins for Telestream GLIM Remote Media Player and the Vantagemedia processing platform. ;) AJA Diskover Media Editio AJA Diskover Media Edition v2.0 is now available as free download for AJA Diskover Media Edition users with an active license. AJA BRIDGE LIVE v1.13 with synchronous multichannel transport for SDI backhaul or cloud contribution.The update v1.13 for the BRIDGE LIVE multi-channel UltraHD and HD live video solution for remote production introduces a number of new features for live video production, including new Synchronous Multi-Channel/Multi-System Transport, Dual-Channel UltraHD support to enable full bi-directional UltraHD exchange, and Multichannel End-to-End HDR support over SDI to maintain full image quality during transport from site to site. ;) AJA BRIDGE LIVE BRIDGE LIVE v1.13 will soon be available for download from the AJA website for existing users with an active maintenance contract.
