ARRI has just released a whole bunch of interesting updates: an online comparison tool for looks and textures, a software update package (SUP 1.2.0) for the Alexa 35 and, fittingly, the official availability announcement for the new CCM-1 monitor, which we ;)
What we find most exciting is the new  Online Comparison Tool for ARRI Textures and Looks, which can be used to evaluate both ARRI Looks and Textures in different comparison modes on selected sample shots. ;) Also new is the Software Update Package 1.2.0 for the ALEXA 35, which allows either the new CCM-1 monitor or the MVF-2 viewfinder to be used with the Alexa 35. We had the MVF-2 in operation during our practical test of the ALEXA 35. With a subsequent software update, it should be possible to use the MVF-2 and CCM-1 in parallel on the ALEXA 35. ;) And to match this, the 7" Camera Control Monitor CCM-1 is now available. Also worth mentioning is the updated SDI Metadata White Paper from ARRI, which is aimed at all those who work with metadata from ARRI cameras via SDI. Finally, ARRI has also released new Smart Focus Rings (Reverse, Left-Hander and Iris Rings) for its Hi-5 Hand Unit, which were already announced with the 2.0 SUP for the Hi-5.
