ARRI has introduced the new stabilized remote head SRH-360. The SRH-360 is a three-axis, fully stabilized remote head for cameras weighing up to 30 kg.
The main improvement of the SRH-360 compared to its predecessor SRH-3 is the functionality of the pan-axis, which now allows unlimited rotation of the head around its pan-axis by a new slip-ring. In addition, the torque of the pan axis has been increased by 50 percent, enabling the SRH-360 to compensate for the strong centrifugal forces during dynamic shots with fast-moving cameras.

Owners of an SRH-3 can upgrade their remote head to the functionality of the SRH-360 by installing the new Slip-Ring-Pan-Module. Due to their modularity, the SRH-360 and SRH-3 remote head can be used with ARRI accessories such as DRW-1, DEH-1, Master-Grips, OCU-1, cforce motors, all SAM boards and special RMB, UMA and ARS mounts. They can also be used with broadcast lenses from Canon and Fujinon via ARRI's LCUBE CUB 2.
The new SRH-360 will be delivered from the second quarter of 2020 and can be purchased in different sets with multiple joystick configurations. In the future, neither the SRH-3 nor the SRH-360 will include radio modules. Instead, they can be used with the new external radio modules ERM-2400 (2.4 GHz) and ERM-900 (900 MHz) from FoMa Systems, which are distributed by ARRI, to meet local radio regulations.
