ARRI has released a new version of its Stellar App (iOS/Android) for intelligent visual lighting control of ARRI lights, which brings several new features and improvements.
ARRI Stellar offers numerous features for the intuitive and visual management of lighting settings via radio and is designed to meet the professional needs of the film set. Different lighting setups can be organized by projects and scenes via app. After creating a new scene, all ARRI lights that can be reached via radio are automatically detected and can be individually named and assigned to groups for easier control.
The new functions in Stellar 1.7:
- Renaming from "Scene" to "Set
- Visibility of the separated device
- Opt.: Prevent device sleep
- Opt.: Switching off the devices at the set output
- Blackout indicators
have been improved:
- Live Synchronization
- RDM detection and handling of devices and nodes
- user interface
- Color mode selection workflow
- Touch sensitive areas for sliders
- Light plots
New default values for:
- Intensity: 20 %.
- x,y mode: 0.33/0.33
- All CCTs: 5.600 K
- RGBW: Center
The new version Stellar 1.7 is immediately free of charge available for de (iOS) and
Android - the use however costs EUR 9.99 per month or EUR 99.99 per year - who wants to test Stellar before a subscription first, this can do 2 weeks long free of charge. ARRI recommends updating the lights (such as the ARRI SkyPanels or L5, L7 or L10) that will be controlled by Stellar to the latest firmware.
