Adobe Premiere Pro has been integrated with MediaCentral since last year. With the latest MediaCentral 2021.11 update, Adobe Photoshop and After Effects now also get a connection -- via a MediaCentral panel, motion designers and graphic artists can access images or videos within the MediaCentral infrastructure. A media preview within the programs is possible without prior import.

In turn, finished work can be saved to Avid Nexis via the MediaCentral platform. This graphical content can then in turn be used directly by others on the production team, shortening workflow paths somewhat.
Other new features in the update include a text editor in the MediaCentral | Collaborate section that allows multiple users to write in a document at the same time, as is familiar from Google Docs, for example, as well as the ability to link many different metadata layers to one's assets.
