Accessory manufacturer Edelkrone has introduced a new "Pro" version of its compact FlexTILT Head, which differs from the standard version primarily in its significantly higher payload. Accordingly, Edelkrone gives the maximum payload of the new FlexTILT Head Pro as 6.8kg (previously 2.5kg).
With the higher payload, the dimensions have also grown. For example, the new Pro version now weighs 735g at 115 x 113.5 x 52mm (previously: 449g at 85 x 105 x 27mm).
What we find tricky about the FlexTILT Head Pro is its stand-alone function. If you need low-angle shots without a tripod, you can get down very far here. However, you should keep in mind that the FlexTILT Head Pro needs a lock for pans and tilts during shooting.
