Accsoon CineView M7 Pro - smarter SDI/HDMI-Funkmonitor

[11:32 Sat,19.July 2025   by Thomas Richter]

The two new smart 7" video monitors CineView M7 Pro and CineView M7 from Accsoon, which were presented at NAB 2025, are now available. The CineView M7 PRO is a 7" touchscreen SDI/HDMI monitor with an integrated wireless receiver and transmitter that is compatible with Accsoon&s CineView transmitters such as the CineView Quad, HE, SE and 2 SDI and has a range of 350 meters with low latency.

It eliminates the need for an external wireless receiver, which is often used in mobile monitoring workflows, resulting in significantly less cable clutter and faster setups. The CineView M7 is almost identical in construction, but cheaper, as it does not come with the CineView integration for wireless video transmission and the external antennas required for this.

The Display

The centerpiece of both monitors is a 7" touch display with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 pixels, which covers 100% of the REC.709 color space and has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. The robust aluminum housing ensures high stability and good heat dissipation, while Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display from scratches.

Record and stream videos

Thanks to their integrated CPU, GPU and Neural Processing Unit, the CineView M7 and M7 Pro both offer a range of functions that go beyond simple monitoring. Both models can connect to a local network via Wi-Fi 6 in order to transfer videos to C2C (Camera-to-Cloud) platforms or stream directly to social platforms via RTMP/SRT. In addition, videos can be recorded in up to 4K60 in H.264 or H.265 directly to USB sticks, SD cards or external SSDs. The video and audio bit rates of the recording can be adjusted to suit the desired recording times or the size of the storage media used.

Monitoring functions and LUTs

The monitors& operating system offers its own intuitive user interface, via which professional monitoring tools such as False Color, Histogram, Zebras, Waveform and Vectorscope can be called up. The buttons can also be individually assigned with special functions.

A special feature of the CineView M7 and M7 Pro is the comprehensive LUT integration: Calibration LUTs enable the adjustment of gamma, color temperature and individual RGB channels, while creative LUTs with up to 4,096 points can be imported via SD card, USB or SSD. In the so-called LUT-Box function, these color transformations can be "burned in" in real time both on the video outputs and directly into the recorded clips. On-board recording supports up to 4K 60 fps in H.264 or H.265 and writes either to an SD card or via USB 3.0 to a USB drive or SSD - controlled via the touch display or, with compatible cameras (currently in the beta phase of selected Sony models), even via the record button on the camera itself.

Video format conversion and calibration tools

For flexible signal processing, both monitors allow up, down and cross conversion between HDMI and SDI, including conversions from HD to 4K and changes to the frame rate, whereby HDMI In/Out can be used simultaneously. In addition, Bluetooth provides wireless audio monitoring options and Wi-Fi for cloud connections. Users can live stream via RTMP/SRT or upload video files directly from the camera to platforms without the need for an additional computer.

The interfaces of the CineView M7 (PRO) include an HDMI input and output up to 4K60 DCI, SDI input and output up to 1080P60, SD card recording, USB-C for external storage, audio inputs and outputs including Bluetooth audio monitoring.

Power is supplied either via the two NP-F battery slots, USB-C Power Delivery or a DC barrel connector. For outdoor use, Accsoon optionally offers a sunhood and a precisely fitting cage system that provides additional mounting points.

Price and availability

The CineView M7 Pro is currently available for around 800 euros, while the smaller sister model CineView M7 costs 709 euros - so the additional transmission and reception option of the M7 Pro is relatively cheap. A firmware update is due to be released soon that will additionally enable the M7 Pro to function as a transmitter - either to other M7 Pros or to smartphones and tablets using Accsoon&s free SEE app.
