Adobe Express - Fast all-in-one web editor for social media content

Adobe has unveiled a new beta version of Adobe Express. No not Premiere Express, just Express. It&s a web app that most slashCAM readers probably don&t know about - but it&s a new attempt by Adobe to bring a particularly easy-to-use all-in-one application for multimedia content to the market.

In addition to images, PDFs, flyers and logos, Express can also be used to create videos, which might make the app interesting for some readers.

Among other things, the app&s capabilities are geared towards the quick and easy creation of social media posts, which is why it can even be used to perform simple motion design tasks. So the program can not only cut videos in a rudimentary way, but also animate all objects. Of course, not on the grand scale of After Effects, but very easy to understand, including pre-made motion paths.

However, the product becomes really exciting when combined with Adobe&s AI technology Firefly. In the current beta, for example, Adobe showed how variations of desired image objects can be generated via text input and cut out immediately in the program.

In layout design, technologies from Photoshop, Illustrator or Acrobat can be found here, enabling amazingly experimental design under a web interface. With "Animate from Audio", lips and gestures can also be synchronized with recorded dialogs. Numerous templates and design elements are already available as templates, which can be freely modified.

This all-in-one editor can export design elements, videos and animations, as well as images or PDFs, thanks to its wide range of output options. Who can imagine now nevertheless little under express, finds here a presentation of some functions in the fast run:

currently available for free as a beta version for the desktop - a mobile version is to follow shortly. For existing Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers, the Adobe Express Premium plan is included, providing access to more items from Adobe&s Stock Library as well as more online storage.
