For those already working extensively with AI-generated videos and images, Adobe is introducing a new, web-based AI video editor with a timeline. The Firefly Video Editor will allow users to create clips directly, as well as organize, trim and arrange them. For this purpose, the timeline offers multiple tracks, and tools for adding voiceovers, soundtracks, and titles are also integrated.
Already generated Firefly assets can be added in the Generation History panel; alternatively, new clips can be created directly in the editor, with start or end frames being specified directly from the timeline. Users can also upload their own media to combine classically recorded content with generated content in one place. Text-based editing is possible quickly via the integrated transcript. Style presets such as Claymation, Anime, and 2D, as well as a library of customizable title templates, are also included.
