After this year&s IBC had hardly any new feature presentations about the video products of the Creative Cloud, Adobe now has to announce some news for its own "in-house exhibition" MAX:
Premiere Pro
The already introduced Auto Reframe feature is now being introduced in Premiere. The Time Remapping function now offers even more extreme values of up to 20,000 percent and work with ProRes HDR is said to have been significantly accelerated. Matching this, HDR 10 metadata can now also be exported. ProRes RAW, on the other hand, has not yet been included in the current version.
In addition, Premiere now allows +15dB gain in the Timeline and is expected to provide improved routing for effects in conjunction with Audition.
After Effects
After Effects is very much about performance improvements with the new release. The substructure will continue to be heavily improved, but the first results can already be felt on the surface: There will now be real-time playback of cached previews.
Also the calculation of the Content Aware Fill Tools should have been accelerated significantly. Also the import and the treatment of EXR files. And besides extended expressions there are additional control elements in the Motion Graphics templates.
Character Animator
The biggest changes have been made to the Character Animator, which is now used more and more in live streaming. Now there are different cameras for one scene, improved keyframing tools, audio triggers and motion lines.
Premiere Rush
Finally, Premiere Rush has a new feature to announce: You can now upload and share your videos directly on TikTok.
