Adobe has taken the opportunity to launch two new initiatives at the beginning of its Creative Conference MAX 2020: the Adobe Stock Free Collection and the Adobe Stock Advocates program.
Adobe Stock Free Collection
The Adobe Stock Free Collection offers stock users access to a curated collection of 70,000 free content items, including photos, vector graphics, illustrations and templates, as well as 3D content and video - the archive will be expanded in the future. The video content can be intelligently filtered by type, resolution, duration, and frame rate, as well as content criteria such as color, the presence of people, or similarity to a given image - in addition, Adobe&s AI technology also enables searches for objects and other categories occurring in the videos (or photos) by roughly classifying the content. The video section currently consists of over 6,000 clips in 4K and HD quality.
Intelligent search for content
The free stock media are all from the Adobe Stock Collection and offer the same commercial usage rights as the paid stock media. This means that all content from the Free Collection can be used in the usual way for private, business and commercial projects.
Adobe&s goal is to offer users an alternative to free platforms and to interest them in the additional (paid) premium content of the Adobe Stock Collection. The producers of the free content receive money from Adobe on the one hand, but on the other hand they are especially featured to promote the sale of other content from them.
With the new Adobe Stock Advocates program, Adobe Stock promotes artists* who are all too often underrepresented in the mainstream. Creative professionals are supported with a total of ,000 to help them focus on their projects and create diverse, authentic content.
