Austrian memory card specialist Angelbird has unveiled two new 160GB and 512GB AV PRO CFexpress Type B memory cards, both with high enough sustained write rates to satisfy RAW video recording at 8K+ resolution. They use Angebird&s Stable Stream technology for high sustained write speeds of 1,480 and 800 MB/s, respectively, to maintain performance for high-definition video recording at high frame rates or photo shooting in burst mode for extended periods of time.

The two new cards have
Angelbird 160 GB AV PRO SX and 512 GB AV PRO SE CFexpress Type B Memory Cards identically high (both maximum and sustained) read speeds of 1,785 MB/s, but they differ in write speeds, which are 850 MB/s maximum and 800 MB/s sustained for the 512 GB AV PRO SE and nearly double for the 160 GB AV PRO SX with 1,600 MB/s maximum and 1,480 MB/s sustained, respectively, which also explains the identical price of the two models despite their different storage capacities.
