According to rumors from
![]() Apple Pro Display XDR The new display will also apparently feature a very special innovation: back in July 2021, 9to5Mac reported the development of a monitor codenamed "J327" with a built-in Apple A13 Bionic chip, i.e. the same SoC with 6 cores that is already used in the iPhone 11, 11 Pro/Pro Max and the ninth-generation iPad. The new Apple Studio Display is said to be exactly this project. It is not yet clear what task such an integrated Apple silicon chip would have in a monitor, i.e. what special functionality it would add to the display - such as the ability to play videos in various formats from a data medium? Or even more powerful functions? It is also unclear whether the new display will be a replacement for the ![]() ![]() Consumer version of the Apple Pro Display XDR at half the price?According to Apple specialist and fairly reliable leaker Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is also expected to launch another monitor this year that will be affordable for "regular" users as well, with a price of around half of the Pro Display XDR aimed at professional users. If that&s true, the price would be around 2,750 euros. It is supposed to have lower brightness and contrast than this (and possibly be smaller) to allow such a lower price. More details about the two new monitors like exact size, technical features and release date are not known yet, but maybe we will be smarter already ![]() ![]() Apple Event on 8.March 2022 Apple Pro Display XDR.The Apple Pro Display XDR is a 32-inch 6K monitor with a 20 MP resolution of 6,016 x 3,384 pixels and nearly 40 percent more screen real estate than the Retina 5K display. It covers the full DCI-P3 color space, has a 10-bit color depth, a maximum brightness of 1,600 in HDR mode (as well as a full-screen brightness of 1,000 nits), making it suitable for professional video and film editing, especially since it also supports native film refresh rates such as 47.95Hz, 48.00Hz, 50.00Hz, 59.94Hz and 60.00Hz. It costs around 5,500 Euros (or around 6,500 Euros with Nano Texture Glass). ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Apple: Neues 7K Studio Display mit integriertem Apple Silicon in Entwicklung? |
