The Amaran MW from Aputure was already presented at the IBC - now Aputure has also announced its availability and price: The compact LED light, which like some larger Aputure lights also uses COB technology (chip on board), will cost 209 dollars. Euro prices and availability have not yet been communicated. ![]()
Attention: Aputure indicates the LUX power of its lights somewhat "unusually" at 0.3m distance - instead of 1m as it is more usual. The result is a spectacular 6000 lux (in boost mode) at a distance of 0.3m. If you have the Aputure AL-MX at your disposal, you can expect double the light output of the Amaran MW, at least according to Aputure data. The Aputure Amaran MW is characterized by its integrated and via USB-C rechargeable battery which should deliver 80 minutes of light at the maximum outpur, by a diving depth of 10m, CRI and TLCI 95+, fanless operation and special effects modes such as paparazzi, TV or the like.
