Aputure has introduced a slightly simpler and more affordable version of its high-performance LS600d Pro LED, which has the same light output but comes with fewer features and is accompanied by a lighter controller.

Like the LS600d Pro, the 600-watt LightStorm 600d daylight fixture (720 W power draw) offers 8,500+ lux output with Hyper-Reflector or up to 29,300+ lux at 3 meters with F10 Fresnel. The CRI/TLCI rating is 96+, and the SSI rating is 72+. It is dimmable from 0-100% in 1% steps (the Pro has 0.1% steps).
The LS600d can be remotely controlled via Aputure's own 2.4 GHz remote control, the Bluetooth Mesh Sidus Link app or via DMX512 In & Out - compared to the Pro version, Lumen Radio/CRMX and Art-net via Ethernet are missing. Other distinguishing features are the missing battery charging function and the lack of splash water protection. In return, the somewhat shrunken controller of the LS600d weighs only 3.24Kg, about 2.5Kg less than the Pro version, with dimensions of 28.2 x 15.4 x 9cm.

V- or Gold-mount batteries serve as power supply, depending on the model version. With the Bowens mount, softboxes, egg crates, light domes or other light modifying equipment can be easily used (as with the Pro). There are 8 built-in light effects.
The Aputure LS600d LED daylight fixture costs (the Pro version costs ).
