7Artisans is launching its first complete set of affordable cine lenses for the PL mount (alternatively or interchangeably on Sony E). The Infinite series, designed for full format, comprises the 7 fixed focal lengths 16/ 24/ 35/ 50/ 85/ 105/ 135mm. The offered speed is T2.1, except for the 16mm with T2.5 and the 135mm with a T2.4. For filmmakers on a tight budget, another figure might be even more interesting, namely the price - which is between 719 dollars (50mm) and 889 dollars (16mm) per lens and is therefore comparatively affordable.

7Artisans Infinite Cine lenses
You certainly shouldn't expect high-end glass for this price; however, according to the manufacturer, the lenses are matched to each other in terms of color reproduction and focus breathing should be controlled. Ghosting, flares and similar image errors are said to be minimized thanks to nano multi-coating and the optical design.
The lens rings with M0.8 ring gear are in the same position, the filter diameter measures 82mm, except for the 16mm, which is also out of line here (86mm). The diaphragm consists of 11 blades, except at the ends of the focal length (10 for the 16mm, 17 for the 135mm). The focus angle is 330°. It is not clear from the specifications how heavy the lenses are.
The 7Artisans Infinite Cine lenses should be available immediately at the individual prices mentioned above (plus taxes); various sets are also offered.
