Asus& first 6K monitor, announced in December, was actually supposed to be on the market by now, but its sales launch has been slightly delayed. But now it is clear that the 31.5-inch monitor will be released in about a month. Some Apple users are already eagerly awaiting it, as it offers a cheaper alternative to Apple&s Pro Display XDR, which costs around 5,000 euros.

The other features of the PA32QCV also underline its suitability for professional applications. For example, it supports 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and 100% of the sRGB color space and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified, which means that it has a minimum brightness of 600 nits and a contrast ratio of at least 8,000:1. ![]() Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV In addition to the two Thunderbolt 4 ports with 96 W Power Delivery and Daisy-Chain support, the new ProArt offers a DisplayPort 1.4 (with Display Stream Compression), an HDMI 2.1 port and a USB hub. With the help of the integrated Auto-KVM switch, two connected computers can be used with a single keyboard and mouse. Also integrated is Asus& LuxPixel technology, which combines an anti-glare and low-reflection coating (AGLR) and is designed to give the display a paper-like surface that significantly minimizes distracting ambient reflections. In contrast to conventional matte screen surfaces, the images should not be blurred, but should have great pixel color fidelity and sharper details. ![]() Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV The integrated Asus Light Sync solution also automatically detects the brightness of the ambient light via a backlight sensor and adjusts the display settings accordingly. The ProArt PA32QCV is also Calman-verified and factory-calibrated to ensure a color accuracy of Delta E<2. A monitor hood is also included to eliminate distracting light from the side. Simple monitor settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature and more can be easily made with the mouse via the ASUS DisplayWidget Center (Windows/macOS). So far, the only competitor to Apple&s 6K monitor on the market is the Dell Ultrasharp U3224KB, which is also 32" in size and whose technical data is similar to the new Asus. However, at a price of around 2,200 euros, it is currently significantly more expensive than the Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV, which is ![]() ![]() Acer ProCreator PE320QXT However, the Acer ProCreator PE320QXT, another 6K 32" monitor, is also scheduled to be released in August - even at a much cheaper price of only 1,199 euros - with similar technical values, but without Thunderbolt interfaces and KVM switch, but with a webcam. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Konkurrenz für Apples Pro Display XDR - Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV erscheint nächsten Monat |
