Asus has unveiled three new models for its ProArt line of displays for professionals at NAB 2022. The top model is the 32" 4K Asus PA32DC monitor, which Asus claims is the world&s first OLED monitor with automatic color calibration. The other new introductions are the ProArt Display PA348CGV, a 34" 21:9 UWQHD monitor with a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the portable 14" PA147CDV in 32:9 format with 1,920 x 550 touchscreen.

The Asus PA32DC is a 31.5" OLED monitor with 10-bit color depth and an UltraHD 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels that comes factory color-calibrated and features 99% coverage of the professional DCI-P3 (and Adobe RGB) color space, as well as 80% of Rec.2020 and a very good response time of 0.1 ms.
Thanks to the OLED technology used, where the brightness of each pixel can be controlled individually, has a high image contrast of 1,000,000:1 and a Delta E value of less than 1. Thus, it meets the requirements of the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification with the display of true black - however, its brightness of 400 nits is not particularly high. Unlike other OLED panels that use an RGBW or PenTile subpixel array, the PA32DC uses an RGB subpixel array.

Of particular interest to professional users is probably the PA32DC&s ability to calibrate the color display as needed by means of an integrated auto-retractable colorimeter. This can be done either through the free included ProArt calibration software or established tools such as Calman Ready and LightIllusion ColourSpace CMS.
The PA32DC supports multiple HDR metadata formats, allowing the creative process to verify how content will render on a variety of target displays before sending it for final delivery.

In addition to two different stand feet, the scope of delivery also includes a wrap-around cover that reduces reflections from nearby light sources on the screen. Purchasers of a ProArt Display OLED PA32DC will receive a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud in select regions, including access to over 20 apps such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, as well as 100 GB of cloud storage.
