Even before NAB 2024, Asus had expanded its series of SDI monitors for professional users with the ProArt Display PA16USV. The 15.6" HDR 4K display offers a 12G-SDI interface, as well as an adjustable kickstand and two tripod mounts for use in productions in various setups. ;) Asus ProArt PA16USV
The IPS panel delivers a UHD resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels at 282 PPI and achieves a peak brightness of 400 cd/m². It covers 100% of the sRGB and 100% of the Rec.709 color spaces and is factory-calibrated with a color deviation of ΔE < 2 Calman Verified. The ProArt Display PA16USV supports HDR display using the HDR10 standard with various PQ curves (Hard Clip, Optimized, Basic) to precisely respond to different brightness gradients depending on the workflow. ;) Asus ProArt PA16USV The 12G-SDI interface allows direct connection to professional cameras or SDI capture cards and transmits uncompressed 4K video at 60 Hz with minimal latency. This enables precise real-time preview, for example for directing, focus pulling or DIT workflows. In addition to 12G-SDI, the ProArt PA16USV has USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode), HDMI 2.0 and a USB hub. For positioning, there are two ¼-inch threaded sockets for tripod mounting, VESA compatibility and two integrated stand options (mini stand and adjustable kickstand). The PiP/PbP function allows multiple signal sources to be displayed simultaneously and individually color-configured - which is particularly practical in multi-camera setups. ;) Asus ProArt PA16USV Via QuickFit Plus, the PA16USV offers special functions for maintaining image composition and aspect ratios directly during recording, such as center mark for image alignment, safety area to avoid image cropping, and an on-screen ruler for real-time dimension control.
