The new 32" (81.23cm) ProArt PA32UC monitor from Asus offers a number of features that make it interesting for professional users: the 10-bit IPS monitor supports HDR and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits - far more than the standard 300 nits of the majority of displays. Its color space coverage meets professional requirements with 85% Rec. 2020, 99.5% Adobe RGB, 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB. Unfortunately, it only supports an UltraHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 instead of real DCI-4K (4,096 x 2,160). The 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angle corresponds to the current standard.
It is connected via Thunderbolt 3, i.e. it can also be connected in series with two other monitors (or other devices such as storage drives) via only one cable using its two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports and can supply notebooks with up to 60W of power during operation via the display connection. The PA32UC can also be connected via its four HDMI 2.0b or a DisplayPort 1.2. ![]() Asus ProArt Calibration Software To protect the eyes, the PA32UC offers four different filter modes to minimize blue light and flicker-free technology to minimize eye strain, headaches and eye fatigue. The monitor can be rotated horizontally 60° left/right or vertically (pivot) 90° vertically, 120mm in height or 5° forward or 23° backward. The ASUS ProArt PA32UC-K (including colorimeter X-Rite i1 Display Pro) is now available for around 2,300 Euro - a cheaper version (PA32UC) without colorimeter has not yet been announced in Germany.
