Atomos has announced a new firmware update 10.55 for its compact 5 inch 4K60p monitor/recorder Ninja V. The main new feature of this update is the embedding of ISO metadata in ProRes RAW recordings with the Sony A7S III and Sigma fp. However, this metadata can only be viewed in Final Cut Pro X (10.4.9) and, for the time being, in no other NLE program.
According to Atomos, Adobe will soon release an update for Premiere Pro that includes ISO metadata support. The Sony Alpha A7SIII (ILCE-7SM3) requires a camera firmware update to version 1.02 for ISO metadata support, while Sigma fp requires the camera firmware update v2.02.

Further improvements through the firmware update 10.55 include
- N-Log monitoring pipeline for the monitor modes Native / LUT, additionally with Nikon RAW function
- N-Log Raw loop enabled for Nikon Z-series
- Activated loop-out of V-Log Raw in playback mode for Panasonic Lumix S5
More than 20 cameras now support the combination of Atomos and ProRes RAW. ProRes RAW is fully supported in Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as in a number of other NLEs such as Assimilate Scratch, Colorfront, FilmLightBaselight and Grass Valley Edius.
