Atomos is gradually completing its cloud functionality introduced at NAB. As of today, Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud support is finally available, in the form of the AtomOS 10.81 update for the recently released ZATO Connect, Atomos Connect for NINJA V/NINJA V+ and Shogun Connect monitor/recorders.

Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud integration allows video footage from a camera to be sent directly to a Premiere project via one of the Atomos Connect recorders (assuming an Internet connection, of course). This allows remote workflows with a variety of different cameras to be implemented in real time.
Frame.io became part of Adobe this year and is free for subscribers. An Atomos Cloud Studio account is also required, which is also available to try out free of charge until the end of September.
In July, Atomos had launched its Cloud Studio service, whose stream function allows a recording to be sent live to Twitch or YouTube directly from a recorder with Connect(-extension). In October, Atomos plans to really take off with Cloud Studio and also launch its Live Production tool, for example, which will offer a complete cloud-based control room for live video and remote collaboration, albeit as a paid option.
In the future, the camera-to-cloud option of the Atomos Connect hardware will also work with services other than Frame.io.
