With the Atomos Ninja V, the Roman 5 obviously stands for the built-in 5.2-inch IPS HDR display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, which should reach 1000 nit brightness. The 4K60p SSD recorder is barely larger than the display itself and is surprisingly slim (151 x 91.5 x 31mm with 320 grams, without battery and SSD). ![]() Since commercially available SSDs clearly survive with these package dimensions, Atomos has defined a new form factor for almost square SSDs (SSDmini). It is the same size as a normal 2.5-inch SSD with a detachable docking handle. If the handle is removed, the SSD does not protrude from the new Ninja V. Angelbird, G-technology and Sony also want to offer SSDs in this 20 percent shorter form factor in the future. ![]() As already suspected in advance, only large HDMI 2.0 in and out jacks are available at video connections. There is a mini jack for audio and headphones. The Ninja V officially offers ProRes and DNxHR as recording formats. The The Ninja 5 should cost 695 dollars, which is a new low price for a 4K60p recorder with FullHD display. deutsche Version dieser Seite: Atomos Ninja V - kompakter 5 Zoll 4K60p Recorder // NAB 2018 |
