After the release of the new version 1.9 of the professional real-time editing tool for sound effects Audio Design Desk (macOS only) with numerous new features at CES 2022, a public beta version of the Audio Bridge has now been introduced at NAB 2022. This new audio extension brings the functionality of Audio Design Desk (ADD) directly into the Final Cut Pro timeline.
ADD Audio Bridge in Final Cut Pro Extension.
ADD Audio Bridge is a native extension of Audio Design Desk for Final Cut Pro. With this integration, editors can create transitions, titles, foley, and music cues using the only DAW that finds and places audio for video directly in FCP. This allows video editors to seamlessly create soundscapes for their projects from Final Cut Pro. According to FCP specialist Larry Jordan, the new extension makes it much easier to find, edit, time and modify sound effects and music directly in Final Cut. The extension offers a much higher form of integration than a mere plug-in - it runs the entire program within Final Cut. To use the beta version of ADD Audio Bridge, you can download the latest version of Audio Design Desk from ADD website.

Audio Design Desk
Audio Design Desk is an entirely new kind of digital audio workstation that uses AI-powered content creation tools to enable filmmakers, editors, sound designers, streamers, and creatives to produce cinema-quality sounds for video very quickly.
Audio Design Desk is available both as a standalone application and seamlessly integrated with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. It completely simplifies the process of adding music and sound effects to a movie. ADD has a library of more than 40,000 royalty-free sounds, loops and music tracks that have been assigned identifying characteristics using Sonic Intelligence and have an embedded sync point to place the sounds perfectly on the timeline. The user simply imports a video file into the app and presses keys on their keyboard and plays ADD like an instrument with the QWERTY keyboard.
